2025年10月15日，安大略省省长道格·福特正全力推行全省禁用自动测速摄像头（Automated Speed Enforcement, 简称ASE）的计划，可多伦多市却“反其道而行之”，计划在今年秋季将49个这类“电子眼”迁移至新的地点。这波操作，无疑将让多伦多的司机们再次“绷紧神经”。
在今年春季将自动测速执法系统（ASE）的数量翻倍后，多伦多目前已有150个超速摄像头在岗。每个选区至少有三个摄像头，其中不少是移动设备，每三到六个月就会换个地方工作。
其实，多伦多市早就计划好要迁移这49个移动测速摄像头。然而，就在9月下旬，省长道格·福特突然宣布将在全省禁掉超速摄像头。市府发言人告诉Narcity媒体，多伦多方面正在“密切关注事态发展”，但目前部署工作并未叫停。
因此，截至目前，多伦多仍计划将其约三分之一的超速摄像头轮换到全市各处的新地点，其中包括布鲁尔街（Bloor）、巴瑟斯特街（Bathurst）、唐米尔斯路（Don Mills）和皇后码头（Queens Quay）等一些交通繁忙的路段。
据市府透露，这49个摄像头预计将在10月底或11月初搬家到新地点。所有预设的安装点都已提前竖起了警示牌。一旦这些摄像头投入使用，超速的司机们就准备好收罚单吧！
福特省长誓言禁止超速摄像头
早在9月下旬，省长道格·福特就已宣布，他的政府将在本月提出立法，以在安大略省禁止使用超速摄像头。他直言，多伦多等城市此举简直是“趁机敛财”。
这项新法案一旦获得御准，将彻底禁止全省所有市镇继续使用自动测速执法系统。
福特表示，省政府将转而资助其他道路安全设施，例如减速带、更完善的交通标志和路缘石外延，尤其会优先考虑学校周边区域。
但眼下，根据省现行规定，各市依然被允许在学校区域和社区安全区域使用自动测速摄像头。
当被问及鉴于福特的声明，多伦多市是否会搁置今秋迁移摄像头的计划时，市府发言人没有确认任何暂停的决定。
该发言人告诉Narcity媒体：“我们正在密切关注事态发展，并将评估最终立法对我们项目所产生的影响。”
多伦多计划迁移的超速摄像头新部署点

这些部署点目前都已设置了预警标志，提醒司机即将有超速摄像头。一旦摄像头安装完毕，罚单就会毫不留情地飞来——罚款最高可达$720，甚至可能被法庭传唤，超速越多罚得越狠！市府表示，摄像头位置的选择是基于超速趋势、过往事故数据以及与学校的距离等因素。所以，在福特的禁令真正落地前，多伦多的自动测速执法项目依然是“该干嘛干嘛”，大家开车可得小心了！安全驾驶，从你我做起哦！
